Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the opportunity, applicants have to meet specific requirements as listed below:

• Candidates must meet the academic requirements, including English proficiency, to be admitted to the degree program of their choosing.
• Candidates must be citizens of an African nation who have a track record of moral leadership and active participation in their society.
• The age range for applicants must fall between 18 and 33 on or before the application deadline.
• Candidates need to show that they have a history of community involvement and leadership.
• Candidates must exhibit superior academic standing and aspirations beyond their means.
• By July 2024, candidates must have graduated from an undergraduate program after completing the necessary four years of coursework.  
• Before August 2024, applicants cannot have begun or finished any graduate or master’s degree programs.  
• Throughout the program, applicants must be able to reside in Phoenix, Arizona.
• It is advised that applicants have a strong background in computer science, statistics, and mathematics.
