What the Scholarship Offers
The Université de Montréal Scholarships caters for all categories of students, including undergraduate, master’s and PhD applicants.
There are three categories of applicants who are eligible for the Université de Montréal Scholarships, which are undergraduate, master and PhD. What each category of applicants stands to gain are as follows:
- Undergraduate:
- Level A: $11,998/year or $399/credit
- Level B: $5,718/year or $190.60/credit
- Level C: $2,000/year or $66.67/credit
- Applied to annual tuition fees of $23,662 (30 credits).
- Masters:
- Partial exemption scholarship: $9,420/year
- Applied to annual tuition fees of $27,300 (45 credits).
- PhD:
- Full exemption from additional international tuition fees.
- Equivalent to Québec graduate studies tuition fees: $19,339/year
- Applied to annual tuition fees of $24,300 (45 credits).
Eligibility Criteria
- Language: English proficiency
- Countries: All countries eligible
- Enrollment: Full-time study program
- Exclusions: Cannot have other tuition fee exemptions
Application Procedure
The application closes on 1 September 2024.

- Admission Offer: Monitor your application via the “Student Centre” and receive your acceptance.
- Scholarship Evaluation: Acceptance of admission offer triggers scholarship eligibility evaluation.
- Award Notification: Receive an email detailing the scholarship amount awarded.
