This program is not just about work. It’s also about making friends and learning about different ways of life. Students who join the program get to do jobs in their field of study. They also get to travel and meet new people. It’s a great way to learn about Asia and bring that knowledge back home.

A Background

The Freeman Scholars Internship Program started to help students get real work experience in other countries. It’s open to students who are getting their bachelor’s or master’s degrees. The program lets students work in many places in Asia. They can learn about business, technology, or whatever they are studying. It’s a good way to use what they learn in school in the real world.

Students who join the program get to work in big cities or quiet towns in Asia. They learn how to work with people from different cultures. This helps them in their future jobs. The program strengthens the friendship between America and Asia. Students share their experiences when they come back. This helps other people learn about Asia, too.
