  • The successful candidates will get a tuition reimbursement of €3,825 to assist with the expense of their studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Please note that eligibility varies across each of the available fellowships and as such, eligibility for every fellowship would be stated. To be eligible for the opportunity, applicants have to meet certain requirements as listed below:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of a non-EEA nation (Suriname and Switzerland are not included in this grant scheme’s list of excluded nations);
  • The candidate or student exhibits remarkable ability;
  • While enrolled at the AHK, the student will live full-time in the Netherlands; The student is responsible for paying the higher institutional tuition costs because the program is not state-funded.
  • The candidate who hasn’t started classes at the AHK yet has to have passed the admission test.
  • Both the student’s financial circumstances and potential will be taken into consideration while evaluating each application.

Application Procedure

Follow the process below on how to apply for the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) Talent Grant for the 2024-25 academic session: 

  • Before being eligible to apply for this scholarship, each candidate must undergo an evaluation by the head of their AHK study program. 
  • Kindly get in touch with your academy’s student adviser to ascertain your eligibility for this grant.
  • You will get an application form from the student adviser or designated contact for the Talent Grant if you meet the requirements set out by the head of the study program.
  • It is permissible for the director of the study program to establish their own standards for what constitutes “exceptional merit.” Each academy’s director will rate the applications; the AHK Executive Board will next consider the rankings and make a final determination. The outcomes of the applications will be made public by July 15, 2024, at the latest.
  • NOTE: The student cannot receive a retroactive Talent Grant for academic years they have already finished.
