The research will take place in the Department of Mathematics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. You’ll also have the chance to work at other locations, like the VU University Medical Center and Kadir Has University in Turkey. The work will involve developing new statistical methods and applying them to fMRI data to study brain interactions. Teaching will be part of your role, taking up about 15% of your time.

This PhD position offers a salary starting at €2770 per month, which will increase over time. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extending for three more years after a positive evaluation.
