The Excellence Scholarships are part of Bond University’s commitment to nurturing talent and ambition. Recipients of this scholarship will be awarded 50% tuition remission for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree, excluding the Bond Medical Program. A Background

To be eligible for the Excellence Scholarships, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents currently completing or having completed Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia. The selection process is competitive, with a panel of senior staff members evaluating applications based on academic excellence and evidence of leadership and community engagement.

Applications for the Excellence Scholarships open on May 1, 2024, and close on August 29, 2024. Successful candidates can commence their studies in the January, May, or September semesters, providing flexibility to align with their personal and academic schedules. This scholarship is not just a financial award; it’s a recognition of potential and a stepping stone towards a bright future.

What the Scholarship Offers

The Bond University Excellence Scholarships, Australia 2024-25 offers a funded opportunity for prospective applicants as follows:

• As an Excellence Scholar, you will begin your studies in January, May, or September and receive 50% tuition reimbursement for any single undergraduate degree or authorized combination degree (not including the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entrance students).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the opportunity, applicants have to meet certain requirements as listed below:

• Identify yourself as one of the following:
• A citizen of Australia or New Zealand or an Australian permanent resident presently completing or having completed Year 12 (or equivalent) inside or outside of Australia, OR an Australian permanent resident having completed high school outside of Australia, OR an international student completing or having completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia, AND
• ATAR 92.00 or an IB Diploma 34 is the minimum required.
• Possess an established track record of innovation, leadership, and community and/or school service.  
• Fulfill the prerequisites for admission to the regular course of study that you have chosen. 

• NOTE: Completing Year 12 must occur more than a year before the program starts, and the candidate cannot have started any post-secondary education. Students who finished Year 12 (or its equivalent) in December 2023, for instance, could be qualified to apply for this scholarship, which would start in the January 2025 semester. 

Application Procedure

Follow the process below on how to apply for the Bond University Excellence Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic session: 

• To apply for your preferred program, fill out the Bond University Study Application Form. Find out more information about this procedure.
• Fill out the application for the Bond University Scholarship. Just log in with the same credentials that you used to apply for your studies, then under the ‘Start an Application’ page, type scholarship in the keyword area.  
• Since no late scholarship applications will be accepted, you must finish and submit your application before the deadline.
