Who Can Apply?

The TechWomen Empowerment Program is looking for undergraduate students who meet the following criteria:

  • Be women with a minimum of two years of full-time professional experience in STEM (unpaid internships do not qualify).
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM field.
  • Have strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Be citizens and residents of eligible countries (list provided below).
  • Be eligible to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
  • Have not applied for a U.S. immigrant visa in the last five years.
  • Must be from the following countries:
    • Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan, and others.
