- A citizen of a country that isn’t in the European Economic Area (EEA), the European Union (EU), or Switzerland.
- An applicant – or already a student – of a Master’s degree program at one of the faculties at the University of Copenhagen
- A permitted time-limited residence as a student of a higher education program in Denmark
- Restricted from getting a grant based on Danish law or the State Educational Grant & Loan Scheme
- Ineligible for legal rights afforded to Danish citizens
- The child of a foreign citizen that is not covered by the European Union or European Economic Area in accordance with the Danish Aliens Consolidation act 9C and 9M as of the period of your admission. Thus, you shouldn’t have a residence permit
